4 Ingredient Tomato Sauce

A good marinara doesn't need a ton of ingredients. Here is a super simple, light tomato sauce to add to your dishes or over pasta. Its great for those picky eaters that will dodge all "green flakes" or chunks of any veggies!


Ingredients:

28oz can of whole peeled tomatoes

4 TBSP unsalted butter

1 onion (peeled and halved)

3 cloves garlic (or more!)




1. Place the butter, onion (together just peeled/halved), minced garlic and tomatoes+the juice into a sauce pan

2. Simmer uncovered for 45 minutes

3. Remove the onion.


Then, either use back of a wooden spoon to crush up the tomatoes if you want it chunky or use an immersion blender for smoother sauce.  EASY I SAY!!!!
