There are a lot of varities of dirt pie, but I love this simple and easy version. It’s loaded with all the goodies and flavor but still very simple and not too “fussy.”
This could be one of my favorite desserts to put together. Likely, because I spent some good times in the kitchen helping Mom whip up this awesome dessert a time or two.
Takes 10 minutes to put this no-bake pie together and 4 hours in the freezer for best consistency for serving.

INGREDIENTS
1 cup cold milk
1 pkg (4oz) instant chocolate pudding
8 oz Cool Whip, thawed in fridge
15 oreos - crushed
1 1/2 cups "Rocks" (Chocolate chips + peanuts..you pick how much of each or eliminate one or other)
1 graham cracker pie crust
Pour cold milk into medium bowl and add pudding mix. Beat with whisk (can also do this in your mixer) for 2 minutes. Let stand for 5 minutes.

Then, fold in whipped topping into the pudding.

Stir in 1 cup of the oreo cookies (reserve the rest for topping) and the "rocks" into the pudding mixture.

To finish, spoon mixture into the pie crust and sprinkle with remaining cookie crumbs over top. Freeze until firm (about 4 hours) and serve.

enjoy!
